Graduate Trainee Project Engineer – Leicester to £22,000



Our East Midlands based client specialise in the provision of bespoke controls solutions to the Power Generation and Energy sector, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Trainee Project Engineer to begin a career within their market leading organisation.



The successful candidate will be tasked with a range of duties and applications that will include the production of detailed design specifications for programming and manufacturing applications, the development of control system hardware for a range of control applications, specifying electrical hardware components for control systems and liaising with both customers and sub contractors in order to ensure smooth project delivery, both on time and within budget.



Additionally, you will assist with installation on site and coordinate the associated administration of a project, as well as undertake hands on programming of PLC and SCADA applications, and the production of related test specifications, factory and works testing and subsequent installation and commissioning software applications.



To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you will have attained a relevant degree in a related discipline (Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Computing) and demonstrate knowledge and skills in PLC based control systems, with exposure to RSLogix5000 and RSView32 software and applications experience proving to be distinctly advantageous. Additionally, skills and an understanding of C, C++ or a similar text based language will also be considered favourably.
