ILS Engineer / Supportability Engineer



ILS Engineer – Aerospace / Airborne Systems.

Primary Purpose of the Role - To carry out ILS, RM&T and LSA analysis tasks on an export contract.

Reports operationally to the Project ILS Manager and functionally to the site ILS Section Leader. . Day to day liaison with staff from other disciplines, ILS colleagues and sub-contractors on ILS matters. Liaison with ILS staff from other companies within the group on specialist matters.

Key Tasks - Conduct a range of ILS Engineering activities including: Logistic Support Analysis.. Reliability and Maintainability analysis. Through Life Support modelling. Produce ILS, LSA and R&M Plans and Reports. Spares Modelling. . FRACAS trend analysis.

Education & Qualifications - Degree, HND or equivalent in a numerate discipline.

Candidates with a good technical background or ex-service personnel with comparable experience will be considered.

Personality / Behaviours - Ability to conduct ILS engineering tasks to schedule and budget. . Ability to liase with staff from other disciplines. Self Motivated. . Reliable and accurate. . Good Communication skills . Prepared to travel to other sites at various locations within the UK on an occasional basis.
